Real Estate Investment

In 2015 I kicked off a small home renovating business with the love of my life. Between his engineering brain and my design and business chops we are working to restore beautiful homes and improve communities.  After a lot of looking we finally found an investment property we weren't outbid on. Our first reno, has been challenging and rewarding. We sold the place in November of 2018 and it will help fund our biggest adventure yet--six months on the road, adventuring across the western states of the US and British Columbia! 

Outdoor and Adventure Writing

Outdoor and adventure writing has been calling my name for a long time. I have been experiencing the outdoors in new ways, especially in leading trips. I have begun to realize how much knowledge I have to share in the unique experience women have in the outdoors. I am lucky to have a life-partner that is a great outdoor ally to encourage and support all my grander visions. We are launching our story telling project in June of 2019 with a our "Sabbatical" a six month road trip across the western states.
